$35 each for the struts from an auto store mine were stuffed when i got my fairmont too
and the Xd's didnt come with anything to hold the boot up, my old man has an XD he just uses a stick with a peice of rubber to hold his up |

yeah i had the same problem, the weld broke so i just tec screwed it back in...good as new... |

yeah pretty much, i find if im on a maca hill it will sometimes try to come down on its own, apart from that, its s**t hot. All the things we take for granted, such as a boot staying open, its so good to have it now!
