it needs a working airbag to pass inspection

whoever removed the airbag to fit a ricer wheel is stupid. Get it fixed for your own sake.....

Doesn't make it handle better...it just makes it easier to steer...it will still handle the same with a stock steering wheel.

It is illegal so needs to be changed before rego.
There is no way in the world a steering wheel will make a car handle better. Would be interesting to see how much the steering column has been hacked , destroyed or changed to fit a sports wheel. To the best of my knowledge noone makes a boss to suit an EF EL column.

as already mentioned...

if a copper pulled you up and was clicky enough to realised a car fitted with a factory airbag has had it removed it would be instantly defected... Its no wonder the air bag light doesn't blink at you with it removed...

Again there is no boss kit for an EF/EL falcon due to it being illegal to run a ricer wheel... So someone has destroyed the column to get it on there so it'd be off to the wreckers to find a new column I dare say...

A smaller wheel makes it harder to steer due to increased mechanical advantage (why trucks and the like has huge wheels), however makes it quicker because if you palm it your palm is travelling less distance per revolution...

Cheers,
Tim

Oh you will go such a long way here pup................................if you think that a sports steering wheel makes a car handle better I dare say you actually are stupid enough to drive a car with a hacked steering column.
Im full aware of what a boss kit is. I have had many myself. Actually I would of got my first one before you made the long swim down your old mans C**k.

an XH would still have the same column and clock spring for the cruise buttons and there was only a couple of XH's without bags wasn't there? XH series 1's? Again I'm still not aware of a boss to suit a ford square shafted column...

Cheers,
Tim

Here the product code for the SAAS Boss to suit a EF/EL 1BK183L. It does state that the product is legally unsuitable for cars with airbags.... But just because its illegal doesn't stop it being sold... Just like everyone that's got ultra low springs in their car's... And as for him saying it handle's better, i'm sure he just means it feels more direct.. Give the guy a break..

WHERE IS THE LOVE!?!?!?! Starting to think FM is just full of grumpy old f**k!! He didn't put it on the car and asking for advice to fix it! Not wether its a boss kit or not...

wtf?...... he-man comes to the rescue....... maybe not.

im not thinking he gets the message, hence the responses. who gives a f**k if its legal to drive with bling autobarn wheel, the point is the airbag is there to help stop his head become curried egg, and THATS what he should be worried about
