I have printed out the TEXT and Non-pictures for the EA-ED trip computer install and also have found out I may have to take ALL the DASH PANELLING and WIRING LOOM to get this trip computer in
Oddly enough I browsed around in the TECH DOCO's section and I DO see the PIC's of the EF/EL and the X series, but not the EA/ED it would be handy to see something of what I'm getting myself into, not being IT and Auto Elec expertized greatly GOD is up there somewhere, I wonder if he will be looking over my shoulder, if not will have to pester here and/or my 2 other IT/Auto Elec friends to help. I PROMISE GREATLY not to Curse TA |

I just installed the trip computer on my ED xr6. I noticed some of the wire numbering in the tech docco is wrong.
this is where i put the wires into the cluster. pin 2(yellow/green) goes to pin 2 lower (yellow/green)-fuel level sender pin 4(black/white) goes to pin 1 upper (blue/red)-dimmer pin 9(brown) goes to pin 2 upper (brown)-illumination pin 12(white) goes to pin 16 lower (white)-speed sender

You need to cut one off a loom in a wreck.
