as the title says? is this possible?? theres always woodgrain surrounds for sale with damaged chrome. can we pull the chrome part off and fit the standard grey part around the woodgrain? i hope it make sense.

stupid question on my behalf, i just realised that the standard surround is one peice.

I think the chrome does come off.

Buy a cheap one and just polish it up.

i also think that the woodgrain is actually seperate to the plastic base. It is screwed on the top IIRC.

it is on boxcars i know that :)
