from what i understand...you are tring to put cruise control on a VP and use the E series buttons.

There are a few problems with this.

1. There are 2 types of E series buttons. EA-ED and EF/EL.
The difference here is EA-ED are in the steering wheel and EF/EL are around the wheel.

2. This is a ford forum and most people here hate fords.

3. Why would you want e series buttons seeing as they cost a f**k....if u got some sell them to me.

Just go to a wrecker and get cruise control for the VP there.

4. Lastly... go to justcommodores.com.au thats where HOS holdens belong

Probably meant that we hate Holdens. It's a fair assumption to make, I suppose.

why would you go to the trouble of fitting a VP cruise set up?? they are s**t!! The ford one is far superior and easier to fit

He wouldn't be the first Holden owner that wants his cruise switches on the wheel. The cruise control stalk that Holden still persist in using is a s**t idea.

would aftermarket cruise kits work with the factory vp holden buttons if i took the insides out of the aftermarket buttons and desoldered the aftermarket switches and solder wires to the factory buttons or not because a switch is a switch

its should work...

your just chaging switches its not a total rewire...
