Hi guys,

I've searched through the forums and haven't been able to find anything to help me out. My central locking is playing up and my car failed compliance because of it!

When i lock from drivers door the locks cycle and stay unlocked. When I lock from the passenger side most of the time it locks both doors, but every now and then the locks cycle also. Both solenoids are working.

Where do I start? Is it an adjustment issue with the lock/striker or do I need to adjust the rods in the door?

Thanks for the help

try taking both the knobs out and see if it locks. maybe just the knob adjustment.
if it works okay, pop the centres out 12mm from the knobs, hop in the car and lock it. then wiggle the knobs back down the thread until theyre about 12mm above the door trim, then push them all the way down. check to see they still work and you are all done.
hopefully just adjustment.

I tried that and unfortunately there was no luck. With the knobs out I can still only lock on the passenger side. I did notice though that on the drivers side the knob goes down then comes back up again just a bit when I lock it from the passenger side so I'm guessing there is an issue in the drivers side.
