hey all, does anyone know if it would be possible to change an ED cluster to an EF/EL/AU/BA/BF cluster?

am willing to make some mods to the dash.

Anything is possible, depending on how much time and money you have.

No, the cave is the wrong shape for it. Unless you source one from an XG ute, will that work?

The dash isn't, because for one, you need to relocate the park brake, which probably means modifying the floor-pan, which probably means getting an egineers certificate etc... There's a silver EA, forgot the name of it, on AFF and he installed the EF/EL Interior, I suggest you have a look. Could somebody provbide the name for that, I have forgotten!

ok ok so, i've found that the XG is the equivalent of the EF/EL, so wouldn't the cluster off that be the same shape?

No, an EA actually, my mistake. I mean an XH, which is the equivelant of an EF. Even then I don't know if it will work though...

No see it looks like they only fit EF/EL and XHs. They are a different shape.

You can modify them mate, just get the cluster diagrams and have a play in photoshop, print them out on super, bleach white paper and stick them in! Of course, they'll look s**t with orange illumination, so you can flog some white LEDs in and paint the needles (and file them back a bit aye, they look like bloody triangles) or whatever!

I'll belt the files up for you mate.

Just import the files into photoshop, it should be alright. The forum didn't let me upload the PSDs so I saved it as PDF.
