ok basically i just did some work on my front doors. its a na fairlane so it has the early eseries trims. i am gettin them retrimmed but i dont like the door handles on them so my question is can the chrome handles of el or ef falcons fit and work on my door? obviously i will have to modify the door insert, but will the door handle screw in to the whole of the door if u know what i mean?

people i need your help and suggestions. i went to armadale auto parts today and they have lokar billet handles for a bargain of $180 a pair. thats not too bad as i also been quoted $260 a pair from another shop for billet handles. pro style say they go for bout $80 each so thats the cheapest but they dont have any in stock.
ive been looking at option of goin a merc door handle or something nice of another car. u guys got any suggestions as i am struggling
i thought photos might help people take me more serious so heres one of the front trim ready and one of the back to show the handle and how it doesnt match the SMOOTH look im goin for
