Gday,

I have EL XR6 interior in my car and i feel that my front seats sit to high. Anyone else notice this? can you fix this other than the adjustment on the right of the seat?

I was thinking about changing the seat to something like a FG XR seats and upholstering them in the EL XR trim. Is this legal? can you modify the rail or is it something that needs to be checked by an engineer?

Cheers

Ok im not a big fan of the AU style seats. I might check to see what sort of costs getting an engineer to look at it.

AU seats can be used, the cushions should be a straight swap.

But yeh, the EL seats are high in the XR6, you get used to it though eventually.

And there is no engineers cert needed if you wanted to use any cushion from any car on the EL

Only needs engineering if you modify the rails.

Didn't Ford standardize the backs/base mounting points on the Falcons so they basically just all interchange?
