just puttin it out there. if anyone knows someone that does the mixer rod repairs cheaper than ford and other places let me know. after recent storm realised half a fogged up window is still bad. haha.. car is a ba fairlane.. i am a mechanical dumbass so wont be attemting it. any help be great if you have had it done at a good price b4. cheers people

Matey, there is NO cheapy way to do this job. The Dash HAS to be taken out to do it.

If you have any mechanical knowledge then you can try for yourself other than that, you will need to find a mechanic who will do it cheaper than a Ford Dealer. Don't forget, the HIM Module could also be damaged and you will be looking at $700.00+ for a NEW one and then fitting.
