I'm just in the process of fitting my EL Futura with climate control out of an EL Ghia and i've just noticed that the blend door arm that the blend door motor connects to is different to the one in the ghia to my futura. It doesn't seem like the motor will work with my Futura's arm attachment.
EL Fairmont Ghia Arm:  EL Futura Arm:  What ways are there around this? Do the arms just pull off and on? Any help much appreciated.

For anyone who has this trouble in the future here is the answer! I carefully levered it upwards with a large flathead screwdriver, being careful to make sure it's fairlu square where levering, and it slowly but surely popped off, same for the other one. Just pushed the Ghia one into my Futura box and works great!
