As the one in my Lane displays stays illuminated in test mode like when you start the car I'm going to replace the climate control unit as after swapping the relay for the AC did not achieve any result nor pulling the unit out & unplugging/replugging the unit.
Is there any difference between i6 & V8 for climate control units?
I'm getting one from vrblou02, he is stripping his 93 NC i6. I'm trying not to canibalise the EB as I may sell it whole or get it back on the road & get rid of the lane.

yes 6 and 8 are differant
they are also differant between series 1 and seris 2 so be careful

So I cant use the unit from a i6 to a V8 ?
my car is built dec 92 & the unit the car is coming from is Jan 93.
