i have a GLi EF cluster and a Futura one as well, i got the furtura one as it has orange needles and a clean perspex screen.
Whats the difference between the 2 clusters? they look the same.

They're the same, however the one with orange needles will have a grey background which means its an EL one, Being a futura it will have the 'low coolant warning globe installed' either way, they're the same.
If you install the Futura one in a GLi, the light will flash unless you take it out OR install the low coolant sensor into the GLi!

Cheers mate i forgot about that post, i put the globe in but the bugger kept flashing at me so i am hoping it's just the wire.
So what if the wire ISN'T present at that plug? where do you run it too.

the wire (one required) if the car has ABS is terminated inside the cabin at the firewall.
you can tap into it from underneath the dash and add it to the instrument cluster. its a yellow/red wire from memory, but it would be wise to get a continuity from the reed switch to the 'newly' found wire inside the cabin before wiring it up, this way you know its the correct one, the neg/earth is well obvioulsy already there! g/luck
