Dudes,
I brought some of the T5 leds so that I could just replace the original white globes in my cluster. however it fails to light up correctly, its very patchy. Is it because I am using the original cluster template? For the time being I have just removed the blue tinted condoms off the standard globes. Is this ok? If you remove the needles, what is the best way to set them back? I removed the fuel needle and put it back on, but it doesn't seem right. Thanks |

Take a photo of where the needles are now...then use the photo to compare against when putting them back on if you need to.

Led's only work one way, if it doesn't light up pull out the globe and rotate it 180 degrees and put it back in. That should work. Standard globes will work whichever way you insert them.

when i did mine i sanded the tips of the LEDs into a round shape, it seems to spread the light out really well, maybe try it on one or two and so if that helps.

When replacing the needles, try having the needle sit on the top corner of the oil/fuel/battery/volt meter symbols.
and at "0" of the speedo and tacho obviously. |
