Went to the wreckers yesterday. They wanted a 125$ for a EF Fairmont Mid Series cluster. Is that expensive or cheap? Also where could I get one cheaper in the Gold Coast/Brisbane/Nothern NSW area?

Yeah, its kinda hard to tell....
Originally I remember seeing Fairmont Cluster going for over $200 (About 2 years ago)....

$125 is a pretty good price... I dont think you will get any prices below $100 though.

wouldn't matter coz I am sure he would swap the ks over, but $125 seems a pretty good price, I paid $120 for mine a couple of years ago.,...

Obviously a few of us older members can see the depreciation with the EF/EL parts on the second hand / wrecker listings - so it's hard to say what a 'bargain' is etc...to give some people an idea, I paid $350 for a brand new EF Ex-chaser instrument cluster going back 2 years ago...then about 18 months ago I bought an EL EX chaser cluster for $250...and about 6 months ago, I found a brand new EL Fairmont / Ghia mid series cluster for $30 at a market hehe...but on topic, I'd say $100 - $150 is a fair / reasonable price for a mid series EF cluster.

I bought a police cluster off Ebay for $61.

I put my bid in expecting it to go for over $100.

I'm happy......

$100-$150 seems the go for sure.

I paid $250 exchange about 3 years ago for the mid-series cluster in my Wagon.
