Brought some of those coloured globe covers the other day. They made of silcone rubber by Navara and they are s**t. There ment to be blue but on the globe they have a green tinge  . What other brands are there?

I wanted LEDs but there for the interior lights above the rear passenger doors, and Autobarn said they don't sell 'push and turn' globes in LEDs.
Thanks Frank.

Well your globes produce a yellow light and the sleeves are blue, yeloow and blue make green.
But, I bought a set of Philips headlight gobes, one of the Vision range, and tehy come with Parker globes, a white/light blue ones (although they still seem yellow when turned on), I put the sleeves over them and there very very blue!

yeah,

i had the same experience with the glob covers... they are really sh#t.

i bought both the green and blue covers and the colors produced from the covers were really bad quality. The green cover produced a weak shade of lime green.

i wouldn't encourage anyone to use their globe covers.

Cheers

Lol, so i'm the only one who got a decent effect with the blue sleeves?

I spose if you're after that neon blue look then you'd be disappointed. I reckon they look great. An exact match with my clock/odo (after putting blue filter in) and also good match with my after market gauges.

I got a good effect with them once I used the right parker light globes, but they don't work as good as I'd like on normal globes... That reminds me, I need to look at changing the backlighting on my gauges...

Also make sure you get the ones with the rib along the bottom. Prevents yellow light from coming thru.

I tried the red sleves in a friends EF dash. Well they where shocking!
We put some in the indicators you couldnt even see them flash during the day they just took away so much light. We tried making led's but stuffed them and runined his dash. But we found where we went wrong now.

I made some led's for my AU and well they come out extremely well it looks great. Only problem I had was the needles wouldnt light up as I had the dash all blue. I put in 2 red leds (6500mcd) with the blue ones (5000mcd) in the speedo and that makes all the needles light up. Only downside is the light is more pink then red due to the blue, ill have to get a picture.

Avoid the sleeves and also avoid those pre-made led's that autobarn sells they are extremely dull and wont fit ef-au dash's.
