Well the mods have been done, last weekend Jason and Trent and I fitted them to both of their BA's, including the rear on Trents Turbo. Pics were taken and a detailed how-to will be coming in the near future.. watch this space

yeh im just working on that now... we didnt get any on the day because it was daylight...
cost wise wasnt much either. The i got like 8 globe holders from a wreckers for like $5, the wiring wasnt much (like $10 per car tops) and the Rear lense for the console i think was around $15 retail (i got it at employee price from ford) Last edited by xpression on Wed Sep 27, 2006 1:37 am, edited 1 time in total. |

It didn't take anywhere near as long as you'd think, and it was good fun.. except for lightbulb jokes, it seems that three blokes one of which is a Ford mechanic arn't enough to screw in a lightbulb, lol.. the one in the rear console was a pain in the a*** to get it. Wish I'd vacuumed my car before hand though.

yeh it isnt too bad really... just a matter of stripping enough of the car (a heap of which is held in by clips...
your right in saying it is just a matter of running and joining wires, but it always pays to run wiring neatly. esp in a late model car |

I added a 30cm CCFL tube light under each of the front seats, they nicely light up the entire floor front and back with a white glow form somewhere unseen.
Also have the rear console light, but didn't need anywhere near as much pulling apart to wire/install that.

Also have the rear console light, but didn't need anywhere near as much pulling apart to wire/install that. i would have thought that would be much easier then pulling out the whole center console drivers side and dash to put some lights in :S.....id just stick some small light tubes underneath the seats and see how that goes. phong =P~
