get what you need from a wreck then just hook into the interior light wiring!

Too much stuffing around would think it'd be easier to buy them new. Also are these hard to do, as im not a very good solderer i need to know before i go and try and blow somthing up!

ahh crap! it would be less stuffing around, the center console is a small single harness which will plug straight in and the footwell lights you need to solder anyway. All up it will be cheaper and quicker!

you just need the bulb & holder - i just used speaker wire to run the wiring for the lamps - i spliced it from the courtsey lamp for the ignition lock

very easy!

he also needs the clear center console light cover. All I did was ring up a few wreckers, found some fairmonts and went down and plucked out what I needed.

Haha I did mine this morning. Follow the doco to a letter and it works easy. Form my wreckers I got the bulb plus a bit of wire, to make it easier to splice into. I got the centre one working but passenger didnt due to blown bulb.

Easy as mate, took me 2 hrs but that was piss f@rt around majorly.

so it doesnt matter what kind of wire you use?

Also i am buying the holder with some wire already connected, will any wire splice into it?

Last of all where abouts can i get some wire and roughly how much do i need and how much will it cost?

Put your faith in the doco's: http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=24 . I also converted all my interior lights to white LED's - just like fluoro lighting now.
