It is black. I bought one last week. $32 from Ford. Its actually cheaper than a standard manual boot. Standard boot which is greay is $40 but the EL GT one is $32 for some weird reason.

What are you saying 'what the' about? The fact at how cheap the EL GT gear stick boot cover is or do you not know what we are talking about?

Its not leather. None of them are. They are a vinyl.
They are all made of the same stuff just different colours. Leather imitation vinyl.

Cheers.
I have an EL GT boot cover and a stock one still in the bag from Ford I can take a picture and post it up if you like.

Gotta love the price disparity between Ford dealers.

The GT boot can be had for $18 to $22 in Melbourne. And the standard grey boot can be had for $30 to $35.

It sounds crazy, but you will find that most of the EL GT parts are cheaper than their standard Falcon / XR6 equivalents. Like suspension bushes. Front lower arm bushes are $86ea for an XR6 and $72 for a GT, even though the GT bush is better.

Ford dont send ther parts straight to dealer parts departments other groups buy the parts and sell them to dealers so it depends on how many hands touch them on the way as to the price you pay. Im not surprised its cheaper in melbourne cause it closer to the factory.

hmm, how bout those pics, and will an EL boot fit an EB??

speaking of funny prices, i went to sprints for a pcv (i think) valve grommet, 10 bucks be in next day, went to fords, 3 BUCKS, and still be in next day... now that is a first.
