I have a '96 EF Futura and the courtesy lights won't turn off. We have to disconnect the battery when the car won't be used for a few hours so it doesn't drain. We have the roof lights globe out at the moment so it wont drain power but the ignition light stays on.
My dad had a look at the open door sensor things but couldn't solve the problem. So has anyone else had a problem like this?

I dont wanna sound like a smart a**, but i hope its not the interior light switch is turned on without your knowledge??
If no, this switch could be stuffed, and not releasing the contacts. Check these,

on the side of your headlight switch is the dimmer for the int light, when its all the way up it turns the int lights on.

Dont these things have a 1 hour delay where if you leave any interior light on they turn off? thats if no switches/doors are opened or switched on/off?
