has any one restored or fixed cracks in there dashes????

Yeah The Cracks that occur with extreme heat..... iam thinking of getting some auto putty or bog in the cracks and then sanding and painting it?? or is there any places that can do it?

dash mat fixed my dash crack but i'm a cheapskate to lol

When the dash cracks its become brittle so be wary of when you bog it up.
Armoral the crap out of it should put back in what causes it to become brittle. Armoral is a prevention not a cure so it won't really help now. Just remember for your next cars.

You know that stuff that builds up on the inside of your windscreen that is what is being released from your interior and dash. Armoral will help it stay newer and more flexible longer.

well in order to fix the crack i assume you would have to take it out anyway so you may aswell change it...

i hate cracked dashes, i get so turend off when buying a car and it has a cracked dash. seems to be a major problem in the ea-ed dashes though, i have yet to see a cracked dash from an ef-el.

they must have used a uv inhibitor in the later models...
