hey guys, ................i have crashed my beloved fairmont :( the crash was pretty bad it hit a tree at about 50kmh from doing a stupid burnout on a wet road and the airbag deployed. the whole bonnet was bent up and i had to use my engine crane to open the bonnet then i removed it. the front bumper came off in the crash and the radiator and ac condenser are pressed up against the belts and pulleys. my main concern if is i can get the front part of the frame off as it is in a u shape and needs replacing. so how would i go about taking this off is it bolted or welded? Thanks any advice would be appreciated

Here are some pics

i rekon as mitch said just buy another car. EFs are preety cheap so not really worth the time or effort.

And next time you try doin a skid learn to drive first.

Once a car has been in a decent crash it will NEVER be the same. Things will never line up properly, won't handle properly etc. Cut your losses, wreak the Monty to get at least some cash out of it and buy another car.

yep buy another and convert the fairmont interior to it, or buy another fairmont and sell your spare trip computer conversion/ powerwindow conversion etc, could make some good coin from it all

The rad support that you have so elegantly reshaped is spot welded. drill em out.

my verdict. you may need a new radiator.

but yea provided the K frame isnt buckled it could be preety repairable.

the k frame has not been damaged at all, no it doesnt have a lsd and if you wanted to know i payed $1200 for the car got a roady inspection (crashed it when it was unreged) all i had to fix was change the master cylinder. after the crash me and a few mates were able to push it home. but i do realy like this car and i'm thinking about fixing it
