horns/cruise buttons work off the same circuit.
i'd check the plug behind the airbag first up.

there is a wiring plug there, in manuals it goes to a clutch switch so the car doesn't try to rev up during gear changes.
in an auto this isnt required so the plug just gets shorted out. (ie, join the 2 pins in the plug)

Going by your airbag fault post, I would say the airbag and cruise/horn plugs are connecting intermittently or the clock spring is cactus..

nah cleared the airbag fault it just needed resetting because i removed it to have a look at the wires, and the horn not working was because i didn't plug the damn thing back in after installing the spotties.

So, is it working now or what?

If it is ...goodonya!

If not ...f**k.

Haha, I thought I had the same horn problem when I changed my steering wheel, but it turned out to be nothing to do with me at all, ...the absent-minded f**k at the Spoiler Shop hadn't reconnected the horn plugs when they put my Venom Kit on some 2 months before, but I hadn't noticed as I didn't have to give anyone 'the bird'!
