rob's idea is the neatest and also the best.
the au console does not suit the early e-series at all.

are you blind or on crack, the au console looks better in a e series than in an au and the console is far better looking than any e series piece of garbage console, also the pop out cup holder idea will not work if you have a double din head unit.

i'm able to read your response and type back a reply, so that rules out if i'm blind or not.

am i on crack though? nar i dont think so, i cant afford it.

each to their own as was said, but i think it looks s**t and you wont get me thinking otherwise.

personally I don't think the rounded AU console really suits the squarer EA-ED interior. But that's just my opinion. Also if I did fit an AU console, I'd encounter another problem. E-series power window switches are on the centre console. On the AU, they're on the doors. So basically I'd lose my power window switches which to me are far more important than cupholders

Dr_Hoon being as how the cup holders that are the subject of this forum are suitable for use when driving, how do you reckon the ebay tray would go while driving?

AU console has no window buttons as they went to the door handle didn't they?
I know the Territory and BA onwards are on the door.
I might check out what the AU console bits look like for a hybrid creation.
