well thats because they are a replacement for the bulbs in there

the cheaper option but more fiddly is to remove your globes ans put in the colour of your choice LED's with the appropriate resistor for working on 15V

you can do it your self man just buy the bulbs from a car shop in melb. In adelaide we hav supercheap auto and cartoys (which are a rip off) and all you have to do is replace the bubls its really easy man.

Mate, If you don't like the price, then do the work yourself. But if you don't want to do the work yourself, then pay the price. What you are paying for, is the convenience of being able to spend 20 mins changing all of the globes, as oposed to 3hrs fiddling around soldering & heat shrinking then installing your new lighting. You have decide which is more important,(or which you have more of) time or money.

I've replaced the relevant cluster lights with blue LEDs from autobahn. They are a very directional light and the cluster does not light up evenly.

The fuel and temp gauges do not like up well at all. The speed and tach light up about 90%. The LEDs were $7 for a pair from autobahn.

If you have the low series cluster you don't need all that junk you're bidding for, the 6 pieces will be enough for the fuel, temp and main gauges.

LED's from EBay (and sometimes not from EBay) not stay for a long, IMHO. 6-8 month and they stop working like mine. The last ones were staying for a year. I bought them from different sellers from EBay- the same result. Recently I asked guys from Autobarn about quality of LEDs they are selling- and they start telling me that "not all cars likes LEDs" and they cannot recommend to buy it, etc.
P.S. I have brand new alternator in my car and there are no problems with charging or voltage or any other issuies.

the problem si the LEDS are done at 12V
when idle your alt is producing ~14V

hence the LED"s burn out
i did the home job on my car over 4 yrs back to run on 14V and not one has blown

if ppl want me to do the work for them
send me the globe holders and i will do the rest
