Bit of an update...

Taken a while, went overseas for a holiday as well since i wrote last.

Here's some new pics of my centre console, i think it has come up really good.
It's covered in a gold colour suede.

Now just figuring out where to put my BF window switches...

no updates as yet.

Just have to spray the vinyl door trims black and ill take some pictures of them to post up, because they have the gold suede on them already.

Interior parts are pretty much ready, all i need is black carpet and custom mats. Carpet i will buy closer to when im ready to put it all in.

Just want to finish measuring up and joining my bumpers and side skirts so i can send the car for the roof lining, which will be black suede like all my interior pillars.

I love the mod as i dont have to worry about the little arm on the cup holders falling down now. The BA/BF cup holder is so much better

That's fantastic. I HATE the E-series cup-holders. Bloody nightmare, they are.

Good for nothing. Phones, drinks... nothing.

The BA centre-console is much more functional, I think. Nice job on your mod, mate. Impressive.

Thanks guys

Well here's a first pic of my door trim

Just sprayed the vinyl yesterday (as it was pretty good weather for it) and has come up very good.

Around the door handle is a gold colour vinyl and the centre strip is the same gold colour suede like the centre console.

Door handle is sprayed with plastic primer and black matte paint, not vinyl dye like the door trim itself. LTD arm rest is covered in black leather and gold stitching like my seats.

Top vinyl piece, not in pic, will be sprayed black as well. The pocket, not in pic, will be black and already has the black carpet put on.

The inside of the pocket, which was masked off while spraying, as you can tell in the picture, is black suede. I really didnt want it suede, i would have sprayed the vinyl black, but when i picked it up from the upholsterer it was already done.

All the spraying has been done after the fabric because the glue that they use can damage the paint if it gets on.

So i give the trim a good clean before spraying the colour.
