I'm Assuming you mean manual
remove the gear knob and leather boot and you will see the base of the shifter attatched with two 10mm bolts just remove those and it will come out then you can cut the rubber and steel U piece of the old shifter and use it on your new one,Then install is just opposite of removal but use some removable thread locker on the two bolts.

yeh its sort of like that... its a column shifter with the button ontop.. im not sure whether the rod inside the stock shifter pushes down or gets pulled up :S if it pushes down it will be fine. just need to know how to get the stock gearshift off.

the big nut at the bottemof ur original shifter knob, just get a large spanner an move that off half a turn. then unscrew your shifter handle. then put your new one on. you may or may not have to cut the rod inside down a little to make it work

and the stock one pushes down as far as i know

goodluck buddy

The stock one definately pushes downwards. The button on the side is a wedge. when pushed the wedge drives the rod downwards.
