Hi all been a while since ive been on the forums Anyway to my very frustrating problem.
My brake lights do not work and i have pin-pointed the cause, it seems that the brake light switch which is located just above the brake pedal has decided to go bung on me. Now the wiring is fine as i can move the switch up and down and it still works, so thats a good thing. But it seems when you press the brake that the unit itself isnt getting enough friction to work properly. So inturn the lights wont come on. Is their a quick and easy way to fix this or do i have to replace the brake light switch and how hard is it to do so. Thanks all

Mmm yes agreed. But yeah i live about a minute away from work so driving thier doesnt cause much problems at all.
But yeah completely dodgy. Lol found out the globe in the spoiler is gone too. What type of one do you need to replace it with? like wattage etc? Cheers

umm not sure on the wattage have a look on the globe should be written on the metal part
for a brake light the brighter the better ie 15watt should be sweet my indicaator globes are 5-10 w i think

check the wiring for the spoiler - it normally meets up with the rear window brake light wiring!
