If anybody wants these templates - They are EF/EL dials
MINUS Mr Bears Polar bears - PM ME.

They are done in Illustrator as vector graphics and can be exported to almost any format...

I'll start working on the EA/ED dials Huggie.

Cheers

Ne1 know of a decent guide to help photoshop newbies such as myself learn how to use this most frustrating of all programs?????

Also these dials are they ready to use with data_mines original dials as backing??? or do they still need stuff doing to them...

Thanks

SHOONY.
I'm working on the principal that the Faces of the dials will pretty much GLOW leaving the Black markings as they are. Sorry forgot to mention that they are for HuggieBear, And will be converted to the EA/ED dials which have front illumination. As for the EF/EL dials they are for Templates in Illustrator. I can Give them to you in any format you like so you can change the colour of the markings.

BOSXR8.
The Font is called SF Outer Limits.
I've PM'd them to you......

GRYPH.
These Polar bear files are'nt ready for printing.
Thats why I said for everyone to PM me, because the printable versions need to be emailed because of the file size (HUGE!!!)
Huggie Bear has got first choice on the Polar Bear pics and I would'nt want anyone else to have them Thats why these ones posted on the site are fairly crappy and you would'nt get a good result.
As for the guide on using photoshop you'll find some really good stuff on http://www.demonoid.com/ you'll need bitcomet to access the files, which you can download free. Just do a search for bitcomet. Go to Demonoid.com and do a search for Photoshop.[/b]

ok i did my first set today and put them in the car, i too wanted white gauges but becuase of the illumination i changed mine around a bit, mine dont look too bad in the car considering its the first set i ever do, i actually like the templated more then the actual coloured ones i made lol.

i made my tacho x100 not 1000, very european indeed :P, i also chanegd the font similiar to that of the el as i really like that style. im happy with it. i think next set will be alot simpler. here are some piks.

also some points for someone who hasnt done this before, dont push the needles in all the way because it is paper and its not 100% flat so the needles will hit the paperr if u push them all the way in, move them around before u install it to make sure there is no interferance. let us knwo wat you think.

ill be making some in wood grain for my dads ghia next i think. i can make up the wood grain in a 3d modelling program as a surface then save it as an image, can also do carbon fibre, brick, stainless steel and many other stuff, if u want anything let me know ill make some up.
tbag pm me your email and ill send u my templates so you can upload them.
thanks for all your help guys.

Mines' been LED modded from day one, and they light up fine. You have to 'frost' the LEDs to spread the light evenly, but that's it.
