Actually sanding them down is a good idea. LEDs are designed to focus light into a point, so if you file down the tip until it's a flat edge, it'll make sure the light isn't so directional. If you then rough up the surface of the plastic as well, it'll be ideal. I did this myself and it works wonderfully.

well put, exactly how i did mine, but i only just flattened the top of the LED's. :) and it also works beautifully :D

What store did you guys get the Narva LED's from? Coz i called around a bit and no stores stock them...

i got mine from repco, they didnt have any in stock, but they ordered them in for me... :)

Me and Lukey have just gotten the Narva Led's today... We've frosted them and installed them into the cluster and he just messaged me sayin they look awesome... One question though if someone could help me... We took out all the globes from the cluster, i can't even remember why, and i'm not sure whether the polarity is right on some of them... is there a way you can check all the warning lights to see if they light up? like maybe a diagnostic or somethin?

i only did the speedo, tacho, fuel and temp gauges (low series cluster) i didnt bother with the warning lights... if the gauges only look half lit up it means u have one or more with the polarity the wrong way....

Yeah i know, but i dunno how to test other warning lights, like the coolant level, brake warning etc...
