Im looking into changing the colour of my needles from white to red what kind of paint do i use to get it so the light still comes through and so that it is evenly painted?
Also while i have my dash apart i think i might do the dash globes conversion are there any types of L.E.D's that i can buy so that i don't have to solder them in? How many L.E.D's will i need? What colour grey/silver did people paint their speedo surround in? Where do i get the paint from? Thanks |

Yeah, I changed my ED ones from the orange to silver. Just used normal spray paint .

does the light still go through them? Also is it hard to get it on evenly?

yup ... just spray the needles lighty a few times ...
no light really goes though the needles, its now the backlighting of the whole dash that lights the needles up . |

ok
with some masking tape mark were the needles go and gentley pry / remove them , once off grab a razor blade and scrap off the orange off, once dun that paint them with a BRUSH what ever colour you want , once dry replace them to marks that u there , All done , with the leds they will light up the needles
