I just did mine. Used Inverted LEDs, probably not a good idea. Theres a few darker parts, between 1500-2000rpm on the tacho. But it inly cost $12 for 10 leds in holders. Just pulled em out, twisted the legs n pushed em in.

To update, I replaced them with these
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/10-x-Blue-LED-Da ... dZViewItem

Works 11ty times better, just need to take a few mm off the top to fit in, but dash looks sweet as now. Also done in the odo and high beam.
Did the trip + demist, and the AC buttons + recirc/fresh leds in the buttons which required desoldering of the old orange leds and re soldering of the new leds. Used white/clear ones to light the remainder of the AC/heater thingo.

Howdy folks.

After doing some research, I have made a small Excel file that calculates how much a LED conversion will cost, based on how many globes in the dash you are changing.

I've based the Globe holders on Thomson Fords pricing, and the LEDS based on http://www.ledshoponline.com/automotive_leds_wedge_bulb.htm

Its here.

Have fun.

EDIT: Macca has uploaded the Excel chart, he didn't realise he had it saved.

Mate any chance of putting part numbers on there?

Cheers

count the beeps and write it down, the different number/combination of beeps means different problems.

Did you remove the air bag or fuse for a long period of time? This happened to me a while ago.

My rant
post975607.html?hilit=wheel#p975607

Solution;
documents.php?d=3

Simple get a bit of wire and earth the airbag memory clear pin(shown in pic) to the body of the car, exposed bolt not on paintwork. I did it and all was good had to do it 3 times though. Cant say how long it lasted because i sold the car soon after.

I've just skimmed through the whole thread, I may have missed it but can you change the colour in the BA's.

The missus hates the green, loves the xr6 purple.

Any ideas?
