t10's are too big aren't they unless your swapping globe holders and finding a way to get them in?
t5's from jaycar are simple plug and play, $2 or so each, only need 6 to do the basics. just sand the tip flat and sand to frost, spreads the light a bit better. mine has one small dark patch at the lower end of speedo, but i can't complain, would love smd leds for better spread though.

kinda read page 1, so if this questioned has been asked already on this thread , just let me know what page number please. just wondering, how would you change the color of the lights in a digital dash? is it impossible? in my na its an orange color except for the speedo, revs, fuel n temp. is this conversion (i would change to blue) still possible for me?
thanks in advance for your answer/reply |

Quote: I did LED conversion on my AU Dash to Blue. Bought the LEDs on EBay for a $1.00 each. Sent from Hong Kong they have holders on them and all. If anyone interested I will find the name of the eBay store and let you know. 6 Led's required for each dash cluster. {USERNAME} wrote: Howdy folks.
After doing some research, I have made a small Excel file that calculates how much a LED conversion will cost, based on how many globes in the dash you are changing. I've based the Globe holders on Thomson Fords pricing, and the LEDS based on {DESCRIPTION} Its here. Have fun. EDIT: Macca has uploaded the Excel chart, he didn't realise he had it saved. |

Hi there, I'm new to these forums but have used them to help me do my dash conversion. Ive converted all my lights to blue except for the LCD on the clImate control, it's still a gross orange. I was unable to find any info on converting the LCD screen to blue. Does anyone know how to do it?
