i got the package off ebay from that bloke, i got all steel bulb holders, but i have no idea how to adapt them to my dash, anyone got any idea?

mate, make sure you are 100% positive in what you are doing
i got the package, put everything tiogether, soldered what i thought hould have been, but n ow i got no dash :S

Hmmm looks like to much work those ones off ebay that and i know stuff all about soldering and resistors and stuff. Does that other bloke that you got yours off casey, does he sell green LED's? Also what type of bulb is used for the low fuel light in the EL clusters?

Hey Spider.

I got mine off Pierre :-P but you can get the LEDs in lots of places now. But check out {DESCRIPTION} and look at the T5 bulbs (5mm.) There is a white and Yellow version. I can't see green, but if you e-mail them they might have them.

OR take them into an autoparts shop, and show them the pic. They might be able to help :-)[/url]

I've already got Green LED's but not many and i thing the ones in the EL dash are different from ED ones.

Though so......

I just don't feel like paying 9 bucks a pop at supercrap auto for only 2 bulbs.

I might contact Monza or whatever the company is called see if there are more cheaper somewhere that or find someone to build those ones off ebay for me. :D

Next time i gota few bucks i drop in to Repco also has anyone done a green LED converstion they all seem to be red and blue i havent seen a green one yet?

i know it might sound stupid but, you mean that if i get the T10mm Wedge 35mm length 1x10mm LED BLUE 12V DC on the ledshoponline.com that i just take out the original white globes and put the blue ones straight in no mucking around ???

i have a Ford EL Fairmont.

I think 10mm might be too big. the ones I used were T5 flat-tops.

as per the spreadsheet, if you have the black or white globe holders, then yes they come straight out and in.

If you have the blues ones, the globes aren't replacable and you need the whole assy.
