Something to watch for in really high MCD led's is a s**t narrow viewing angle, which is the last thing you want for dash led's.. always worth comparing to the lower ones.

Hay all
As soon as i seen the led conversion i had to do it. I wasn't to sure about doing the instrument clustors but did go and do the door handles and climate controll and clock. After the time it took to do i thought u must be able to buy led already coverted to a twist-lock socket base. i have been doing a bit of looking and australia has nothing so i decided to look oversees as my old man buys lights from the states all the time and they are great. After a quiet a bit of time i have found an LED bulb installed in twist-lock socket base Available with White,Blue,Green,Red and Amber Wide Angle LED. I have jut recieved them and they look like they will go right in, compared it next to an old one i pulled out doing the first mods. Havn't had the chance to put one in and see how bright it is yet but as soon as i do i will post another msg. They are cheap to. Bought them just as cheep as what you can here but you don't have to do aa thing to them, no soldering resisters and c**p. Pick of one.

Hey dudes, a quick question, will the "T10mm wide angle wedge 12V DC" fit in the normal bulb holders behind the ED instrument cluster?

nope, they're too big. 8mm is about the biggest that'll fit.
