A few months back. I resprayed the dash black with other plastics in the car, which weren't primed properly (due to a dodgy mate) and now I'm well under way.
New leather seat covers (ivory cream with black stitching), gear stick cover, handbrake cover, console cover, door trims, and parcel shelf have all been ordered. (due about December 13-15th) The past few days, I've resprayed all the doors black, as all the plastics and carpet will be black. I took a few photos, they're a bit "glossy" as it's only been done today, but as it dries it will become a little more settled. Here's a few pictures of the door trims, more photos to come as i progress through this. By Christmas I'll have a brand new interior I'll keep you all posted! Can't keep my hands of the interior, just want to work on it non stop.

P.S - I bought the carpet for the front doors (those carpet inserts) but can't put them on yet until the paint full dries and bonds or else the bond for the carpet will just make the paint sticky.
(I know this as i tried it, bad idea!)

i thought about the chrome door handles, but when the door insert is covered in the ivory semi-leather, i might just spray it the same color as the ivory.
personally im just not into them standing out so much, plus nothing else on my interior is chrome. but i'm leaving those until last to see what i decide when the rest is on.

(I know this as i tried it, bad idea!) You'll probably have to remove the paint where you want to glue the carpet on anyway so that it has something solid (other than a thin layer of paint) to adhere to, otherwise the carpet (together with the paint) may come off after a few slams of the door.... |

thanks liz, it's only a very light coat on the carpet insert plastic, so i'll just sand it back and then glue to carpet on.
