Did DF/L LTD interiors come in both grey and mocha, or cupa or what ever the ugly brown is called?

According to the ads, these are beige/grey interiors, but they all look pretty brownish to me specially the lower parts of the dash and door trims.

Yeah i think I've read that to before, admittedly I'd love to be wrong for those leather stitched armrests.

But also if a df ltd in gunmetal grey has a cappa interior I suspect there all cappa.

is there any other models with the door trims with the padded part on the elbow rests?
i looked up Fairlane Ghias and that and they don't seem to get the pads on the door trims.

Yeah nf fairlane ghias do have them, I have a driver side pair here, same as the ones in that dudes sweet red fairmont link

I know theres a few talking about them being out of df, dl, but simply there wrong, for one df/dl don't use ghia emblems, nor do they use velour inserts or armrests, they use leather.

I have to agree that they are also available in NF Fairlane Ghias.

I scored a drivers one out of and NF at the wreckers. They are covered in material though, not leather.

Yes, much nicer on the ole elbow.

It took me a while to find a stuffed set of woodgrain spears so I could paint them, but finally got the look I was after.

These are the models mentioned above that came with padded doortrim armrests.
1. All DF and DL LTDs came with padded leather armrests to go with the standard leather interior, except the odd one with special order velour interior and they got velour pads;
2. Any NF or NL Fairlanes that came with velour interior got velour padded armrests;
3. I'm pretty certain the EL GT had padded velour armrests.

NF and NL Fairlanes with leather interior got no padding on the armrests. EF and EL Fairmont Ghias with their leather interiors (I've yet to see one with velour interior from the factory) got no padded armrests either.

So on that note, there was never grey leather armrest pads?
Even ELGTs got velour ones.

That's right. Leather armrest-pads only in cappuccino. Velour pads in grey or cappuccino.
(I have seen a DL LTD with a velour interior, but the colour was still cappuccino.)

No EL Fairmont Ghias got padded armrests.

'regency' has summed it up spot-on.
