is there any difference between ba bf and fg seats? my mate just scored some fg xr seat covers. by covers i mean the actual cloth that goes on the foam. are we limited to tracking down some fg xr seats or will they fit others aswell? he has an fg xt and wanted them to do an upgrade, but we wanted to find out if they will fit prior to stripping all the old covers off....

They are different seat cushions. They will fit but be quite loose.

If your mate can get another set I'll buy them off him, need a replacement set.
