i dont know if its even do able but im thinking of putting Holden VN front power window actuators in to overcome fords infamous s**t design in theres any ideas greatly apricated

I have BA ones...
Usually once you solder up the dry joint they don't do it again I thought? Cheers, Tim

no its in the actual cable due to the exrta weight in the front glass the cable stretchs n breaks over time
holden run metal gears to over come that |

Ah s**t... sorry man...
Don't know why I thought switch when you said actuator... I've always kept mine fairly well lubed and haven't had much drama to date? The early BA ones have a s**t load of trouble too... They have two cables and two mounts and the cable hooked to the glass by way of some plastic thing which broke and then make the glass really C**k... So they come out with a better designed part... Best bet would be to try and retain the ford and rail and that because it fits, and devise some better method of hoisting it up and down? Cheers, Tim
