Well because i am making my interior black i needed something to finish off the doors. Because im a tight a** i decided to try something different.
I got my door handles. Pulled the pin out of them and started sanding the handle part of the assembly. I used 260 grit wet n dry. I got the whole surface smooth as possible. I used a can of septone chrome. Its about 12-17 $ a can. There are better brands such as VHT but i get asked for ID where the VHT stuff is. I did one thin coat of chrome on the handle after sanding and drying it. I will do another coat when its time to. Ill get some pictures up soon (camera battery is f**k) and show you. I did one as a tester before i go stuffing up the whole lot of them. This could proove to be a cheap and effective mod for less then $20.
