This isn't for my car.
Just wondering if I can make a simple shift light with an LED? If so, how?
Maybe even a more advanced one that's got say 3 leds, that one comes on just before redline, one at redline and one just after or something.
Any ideas/help?

Edited the title, wrote kit before/..

Basically just need a switch that closes circuit at selected RPM....

Kinda like this:

Or i imagine a similar gizmo to what people use when fitting the BBM onto an EEC-IV vehicle. ie. RPM switch

The RPM signal is just a pulse dependant on RPM isnt it?
