Hey guys.
I want to hook some LED's or neons (not sure yet) to the dome light circuit so they come on when my interrior lights come on. Does anyone know the easiest way to do this? can it be done by simply tapping into the wires behind the 'A' pillar??
Cheers

what model/variant car do you have? Where do you want to place the lights? knowing where you want to put the lights will tell us where the best place to be to intersect the interior light wiring.

If you have a pov pack, you will have the main dome light, but it would be easier to tap into the light next to the ignition barrel.
if you have a mont/lane, it is usually easiest to tap into the footwell/door lights but it depends on the car and the desired location of your new lights.

Hey, i also wanted to do something similar. but what i wanted to do is put lights in my front grill, so that it has a nice glow. i wanted it so that it would only come on when my interior light is on. e.g when i unlock my car grill will light up aswell as interior. but i also wanted it so that i could use my interior light button to turn it on and off.
is there an easy way of doing this? is there wires in the engine bay already that are hooked to my interior switch/button. or does it just come from the interior fuse box?
btw i have a bf mk2 xt falcon.
cheers
alex

I've done this in my BA Falcon -- I put neons in the footwells, and yes, you just tap into the A-pillar. There really isn't much to it. There's a tech doco on installing floor lamps -- just look at that, however instead of using globes, you use LEDs/neons. Very simple process.
