Hi guys, is it possible to change just the door catch plastic cover instead of changing the entire catch ? As you can see in the picture, mine is a bit worn and torn. Thanks for any replies :D

You will need to replace the catch.

I rang Repco and they don't even have a listing for them. Rang Ford and they're obsolete :( Any idea who sells new ones ? Might be a wrecker job.....

You won't find new ones unless you find Old Stock.

Wreckers maybe but I would say that most would be in the same condition.

I have the same issue with the EL.

Was thinking of finding a similar plastic and see if I can melt it over the top, this will depend on what the plastic is made off obviously. It looks like it's polyethylene which you can melt and wrap it around it. Not sure how you would glue the ends or if you can plastic weld the ends together once its on the catch.
