hey guys

i am havin a bit of trouble pulling my panels of my front doors so i can put in my new speakers. ive taken out all the screws around the panel, the handle and the window winder but cant seem to get it off. is there any other screws or sumthin i have missed??

and i have an ea fairmont :wink:

If all the screws, window-winder, and mirror trim have been taken off, you should be able to lift the bottom of the trim upwards, but it'll be stuck cause its sort-of wedged into the window channel. You need like a big-flathead screwdriver to pry them apart, just be careful you dont damage it.

ok cool... when the screw is out the window winder does the handle just pull off?

yes and make your the plastic buttons on the lock is removed used a paur of pliers with a rag and grap the trim from the bottom and riff up

Don't forget to remove the lock button as well.

It is easier to lift the trim from one end first then work your way along.

With Ea's (unless with tibbi lock) you dont need to remove the door lock before pulling the trim.
