removing the front passenger trim to fix a dead power window. ive removed all the retaining screws but it still wont come off. is there anything else it is connected to i should know about before i destroy something?

it's held in with clippy things up top. you need to 'lift' the trim off the door in a vertical motion, it'll give.

you mean that seal thing its tucked under just below the window?

on the ef there is a screw in the coin holder thingy aswell... and after all the screws are undone, pry each corner of the top bit of the trim up with somthing, and lift it should give easily...
helps if done with the door open too...lol hope it helps. |

yeah, (at least on the ef/el's) I've never pulled apart an EA-ED.

I have, just as datamine said, you have to lift them up to release the clips

take all screws out, take window winder off, take door handels out, then take the lock latch off, if u dont u will brake the holder, then take the strip off at the top, its black and clips it all together, it comes out vertically, and once off, bobs ur uncle
 , so to speak
