OK,I have searched for this but can't find anything relevant to what is happening.In my DL I lock the doors,then try to unlock and they just keep cycling.Started all of a sudden in town and it unlocked once,but got home,(wound the window down) and tried and the doors will not unlock with the remote.I tried with the key and if I turn it full,it cycles through and doesn't work.If I turn the key a little,like for a split second, I can get it to unlock.

I had a guy install some front speakers a month ago and the dolt broke the knob off somehow,but the problem only just started happening.

Any ideas? I don't want to have to leave the car unlocked,and am worried that at one stage I won't be able to open it without the key.

try leaving interior knob off drivers door to test in case it is jamming - locks will cycle if this doesn't have enough clearance

It turned out the knob was completely broken off,and the red plastic rod was catching on the bottom of the recessed fitting the knob fits into.So I snapped the rod off at the bottom where it is connected to the mechanism and haven't had a problem since.
