Whats this spot lamp warning thingy?

theres a function in the dash if you add a bulb & some wiring, to include the aftermarket drive lights into your cluster - so that when they are on, theres a light on the dash to let you know! might hook it up if i can be a*** - for the moment i've got a red LED mounted in my dash which comes on

i'm changing to a high-series cluster dylan - i'll leave you to your pov-pack low series one mate

you mean any type of drive light? yes, if you wire it up correctly it will.

Between the high beam warning lamp and the smartlock LED, there is a spot light warning lamp. The artwork looks like the high beam warning but with three lines droping away from the light symbol, and it comes up blue when light.

Interestingly enough, the low series cluster also has the ability to display two other warning lamps along the bottom pannel of warning lamps. One warning lamp is between the oddometer LCD and the AIR BAG warning light.
From memory the other is to the left of the 'headlights on' warning lamp.

These spare warning lamps do not have any artwork on the low series cluster and require some small mods to make them functional. I suspect they can be made to turn on by supplying 12V to, or by earthing the appropriate pin depending on the mod.
When i have worked out the mod to the circuit board, i will post the info.

However, it would be nice to know how ford has used them.
Does anyone know what warnings ford places in the above areas ?
In the XR6T, is there a boost warning light and if so, where is it ?

Cheers.
