I got some of those "T10mm wide angle wedge 12V DC" from the LED shop online. They fit up alright, but when i put them in the bulb holder behind the trip computer it looks crap, really dull and it only lights up a small section of the screen... whats the solution to this problem?!

it was a bit fo a b**ch to do, and now its being flaky on me, LCD backlight goes out sometimes or flickers, still getting 12v to the LED's and the LED's still work with external 12V power, got me stuffed, im thinking of making premade LED modules for the EA-ED tripcomps (so you only have to modify the light guides)

This spreads the light so its not all in one spot.

Not realy brighter, but because the light is dispersed better, it helps overall.
(and enough with the murph/ambrose pic it's everywhere.)

if your problem is that the light is uneven (a bright circle in the middle, dark elsewhere) filing off the tops will help, if the probelem is that its just plain not bright enough, the only soloution is to up the brighness, (by changing resistors) or add more/larger LEDs.
Its my picture ill display it if i want to
