please help if u have any ideas......

i have four wires left to connect up then i believe i will have wired up a ea fairlane climate control to a eb2.

the wires i am stuck on are....

blue wire
yellow wire

according to wiring diagram these two wires go to the engine temperature sensor....where is it and what colour wires...(photos would be great)

purple/white wire.......starter circut........where do i place this wire and what colour on my eb2

blue/red wire............starter relay..........where do i place this wire and what colour on my eb2

the rest of the wires im pretty sure i know where to put them but if there is any one out there that knows for sure i would love to check if im right....

any help would be great....

you got two choices the blue and yellow that go to the vacuum control solinoid (the black box with the vac lines running off it) or the engine temp sonsor which is the 3rd sensor to the thermostat housing which on gli or others without Auto cc have just a bung plugging up the hole.

ok just had a look and i noticed that on the side of the thermostat the fairlane has three plugs in it and my eb only has two......now in all the books i have they say that the one at the front is the coolants tempture sensor....the one next to it they dont say.....and the one at the bottom is the tempture gauge (one wire)....

so what is the second one...??? is that the engine tempture sensor??? y not use the coolant temp sensor if that is the case.....how can it give engine temp if it is in the coolant??

ok heres the update.....

green and yellow wires have been sorted out.....(side of thermastat)

only need help finding out where the other two wires go.....

any ideas???

the blue and red is the lcd dimmer line if it definatly is blue and red, not red and blue

the violet(purple) and white goes to the diode that is taped to the steering colum, i dont have any pictures yet as i havnt installed mine yet, and the previous car is now gutted and the bonnet of a VW

sorry have worked it out now and will be putting all back toghter once i get my carpet this week...

will update once installed
