Hi

Over which part?

The rear where the lock is? or under the lid itself?

On my Fairmont and GL, they both had a plastic cover over the rear.

Might look at making my own for the rest.

There was never carpet inside the bootlid on the EA-ED models. EF Fairmonts and other models beyond had carpet inside the bootlid. Has anyone considering taking the EF Fairmont trim and tried to fit it inside and EA to ED bootlid?

EA-ED didn't come with boot lid carpet.

The EA-ED boot lid doesn't have the holes drilled into it for ppins that hold up an EF/EL boot carpet.

However, it should be too hard to drill the holes.

Does it look good in the bootlid for the EA-ED Falcons - maybe we could add this modification to the exisitng modifications.......small, but effective. Does anyone know if this modification of adding carpet to the inside of the bootlid help to cushion noise from subwoofers in the boot?

This is a tiny bit off topic, but along with the bootlid trim, was there ever a plastic cover/carpet over the right hand side of the boot?
